Golden Earthworm Organic Farm

Ian and I took an afternoon trip out the east end of the island to visit The Golden Earthworm Organic Farm. They have a booth at our farmers market and supply us with delicious veggies all summer long. Its a beautiful farm. I spent some time picking lavender.

Here's Hattie, a very large pig.
A few goats.
This is Pan. He loved handfuls of clover.
Actually, the animals are really just farm pets. It's a fruit and veggie farm mostly. Check out their website: http://www.goldenearthworm.com/

Taryn's Flowers

A seed gift from Tayrn now in bloom! Thanks!

Beard

I posted previously about Ian's beard. Here's a shot of him with full growth. While I do think Ian wears the beard well, I am not a big fan of barbed-wire kisses.
Let the shaving begin!

Even worse, a creepy mustache:
Very funny.
Much better.
And with a closer shave this morning, my husband is back to normal. Woohoo!

Shots from our vacation

Here's Ian's vacation beard....which is still there almost 2 weeks after vacation. He is trying out the new look. I'll have to post an updated picture later...

On vacation we went camping at Acadia National Park in Maine. It was so beautiful and relaxing. Here is a shot of the rocky shore:

A beautiful sunny day for a hike!
The park has many lakes with great hiking trails:
Ian and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary on vacation. Here we are at the Jordan Pond House for a celebration lunch after (and before) a nice walk in the woods!

All-in-all a super and much needed vacation at the end of a very busy intern year!

The Millers

No trip to visit Robert and Corrie would be complete without a feeding of the various lizards and chameleons. We were not disappointed on our last visit. Check out the newest additions to their family. Here's the lady Miller chameleon:
